The Obama Presidential Center will include a world-class museum and public gathering spaces on the south side of Chicago to celebrate our nation’s first African American President and First Lady. President and Mrs. Obama believe that building the Obama Presidential Center is an opportunity to give back to and reinvest in the community that forever shaped their lives, values, and beliefs.
An early value we brought to the project was proactively purchasing equipment and securing offsite storage to reduce lead times and avoid production delays. Most materials are housed at facilities across the city and delivered to the jobsite as needed. We’re also collaborating with a local MBE partner to support storage and transportation logistics.
